An individual can enroll and update the nearest post office with 13352 centres across the country providing aadhaar services at its best.

Application for Aadhaar is free of service while the upgrade is chargeable at an amount of Rs 100 and other demographic updates are around Rs 50.According to the India post, there are two types of services provided

Aadhaar Enrolment: The enrolment process consists of electronic capture of demographic and biometric information of the residents. It is done free of cost

Aadhaar Updation: Updating of Aadhaar has demographic updation like name, email id, mobile number, address, date of birth etc.Biometric updations, facial images, 10 finger prints along with iris updating through post offices

Step 1: Open the post office's official website - https://uidai.gov.in/ Step 2: Check on the ‘Menu’ section and tap on the ‘Retail Service’ Step 3: Next click on ‘Aadhaar Updation’ and you will land on ‘Aadhaar Enrolment’ cum Updating centers page. Step 4: There is a link that displays the list of Aadhaar centres and it's done.
